I'll send you a detailed checklist, but typically: recent bank statements (6 months), payslips (last 3), tax returns (last 2 years), asset valuations, property deeds, pension statements, and any other income sources. Exact documents depend on your situation.
That's normal. I'll work with what you have. If documents are unclear, I'll ask clarifying questions. Disorganisation doesn't change the price—but it might add a day.
Yes. Business ownership moves you to the R8,000 tier because I need to review your profit & loss statements and tax returns. But it's definitely doable.
Time and complexity. A simple employed person takes 4–6 hours of work. A business owner with multiple accounts and properties takes 8–10 hours. Both are fixed-price—you pay once, no surprises—but the workload varies. Fill out the intake form and I'll quote you exactly.
No. You can use me whether you're working with an attorney, a mediator, or handling your own case.
The goal is to complete your FDF so accurately that questions don't arise. Each figure and piece of information is substantiated by supporting documents, clearly marked as Annexures.
Absolutely. Everything you share is private. I only use your information to complete your FDF. I don't sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose.
Your personal information is protected under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
How it's protected: All documents are stored digitally and encrypted. Access is restricted to me only.
After completion: Your completed FDF and all supporting documents are yours to retain securely. I do not keep copies after delivery.
If you're going through divorce in South Africa and your attorney or mediator has mentioned "financial disclosure" or "Rule 43," you need one.
